What are cookies?
Cookies are small pieces of data your browser stores when you visit the site. Similar technologies exist too, such as local storage. They may last only until the browser closes, or remain for a defined period.
How MASON uses them
The site uses the technologies necessary to run core functions, protect the session and remember privacy choices. We do not activate non-essential analytics or marketing cookies before you consent. If we add a new service, we will update this page and the choices panel.
Categories
- Necessary
- Run the site and hold security and privacy settings. They cannot be switched off from the site panel because the service depends on them.
- Preferences
- Remember choices such as language. They run only when used, or after your consent where that is required.
- Analytics
- Help us understand page use in aggregate. We do not activate them without consent.
- Marketing
- Measure campaigns or personalise advertising. We use them only after explicit consent, if they are ever enabled.
Third-party cookies
Some pages may show content or links from external platforms such as social or video networks. Those parties have their own policies and may set cookies when their content is opened. Where possible, we do not load optional third-party content before you consent.
Managing your choices
You can accept or reject optional cookies, or change your decision, from the cookie settings where available. You can also delete cookies from your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may break some functions.
Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
