A living room that treats gold as a repeated whisper rather than an announcement of luxury.

Gold in small measures

Gold never appears here as a large surface, only as a fine line that repeats: the edge of a table, the frame of a mirror, the base of a chair. Small repetitions give a sense of richness without weight.

Used across wide areas, the same gold would turn the character from quiet luxury into declared luxury. The difference between the two is quantity, not material.

Fluted walls and a plaster ceiling

The fluted panels give the wall a vertical rhythm and self-cast shadows that shift with the light. They stand in for colour, adding visual interest while keeping the palette neutral.

The plaster ceiling conceals the lighting and defines the seating zones from above, so the room is divided without a single break on the floor.

Details that complete the place

Marble and rug balance the temperature

The pale marble and the oval table offer a cool, polished surface, while the patterned rug and the fabrics return warmth at the level the hand and foot actually meet.

That exchange between cool and warm is what keeps the space from reading as a showroom and makes it usable day to day.

The sculptural artwork and the crystal chandelier are strong elements, but everything around them is quiet. That equation is the core of the project: a little strength in the right place, and a wide calm to carry it.
